Family Nurse Practitioner Locums Needed in Tacoma WA – Job 2387

Description

We are working with Sea Mar Community Health Centers located throughout Washington to help fulfill their need for Primary Care Nurse Practitioner locums providers. Sea Mar Community Health Centers specializes in primary care family medicine, including preventive health exams, prenatal care, acute care visits, minor procedures, health education, follow-up care from hospital visits, and referrals.

Family Nurse Practitioner:
• Seeking coverage starting March 4th
• 5 Locations: Tacoma, Vancouver, Federal Way, Vashon, Lakewood
• Monday – Friday; 8:00a – 5:00p
• Average 15-18 patients per shift
• Must be comfortable with all ages
• Support staff includes dedicated MA for each provider, mental health therapist, dietitians; most clinics have an on-site pediatrician and local health care administrator
• Bilingual providers preferred, but not required
• Procedures include standard primary care, injections, IUD placement, and minor wound care
• EPIC EMR
• Active WA DEA required
• Minimum one year experience in community health as an NP
