We are currently working with University of Illinois Hospital and they are seeking inpatient Palliative Care coverage as soon as possible with option to extend. Palliative Care/Hospice Physician

– Monday To Friday 8a-5p

– Average of 10-12 patients per day

– Patients may include Hem/Onc, Cardiac, Med/Surg ICU, Renal, Dementia, Neurosurgery, Sickle Cell, general medical. All palliative care patients

– Facilitate access to appropriate supportive care services.

– Participation in on-call coverage with the interdisciplinary team

– Weekly participation in interdisciplinary team meetings to review active cases.

– Assist in the development of standards of care.

– Perform other duties as requested.

– EMR: EPIC

– Must be BC with minimum two years’ experience.

– Board certification in Palliative Medicine and/or Geriatrics preferred.

– DEA certificate
